The investment potential of the town  are, Hotel construction,  Lodge development, Metal and wood work industries, Paper and pulp industry, coffee processing and packing industries, animal fattening , Dairy farming , health institutions , health training, medical centers development etc.

There are six kindergartens; nine primary schools; one government secondary school; one government TVET and college in Mizan-Aman town.

Health

In Mizan-Aman town, there are one government Hospital, nine clinics, one health center and there are also six pharmacies.

Municipal services

 The town gets 24 hours electric supply from the national grid, mobile and fixed telephone lines and a branch postal office. The main water supply source of the town is Potable Underground water and there are pipe distribution networks.
