Waste Management

• There is no existing waste disposal site, no well organized waste collection and disposal system.
• The waste is disposed near EELPCO Eucalyptus tree on West and this cause pollution problem for the inhabitants of the town.
• The liquid waste disposal is another more serious problem at present.
• There is only 1 vacuum truck owned by the municipality for empting the latrines and the disposal sites are open fields which are located along the road to Finfinne and Goba.
• There are two public latrines constructed by the Municipality in kebele 01 which is the most densely populated area.
