5.1 Infrastructure

Regarding infrastructure, the town has asphalt and gravel roads connecting it to different weredas in the zone, surrounding zones, towns in the Region and Addis Ababa along with three outlet/ inlet roads. In the town, there are 27.5km gravel, 0.04Km coble stone and 92.5 km compacted earth roads. In addition to these, the towncgets 24 hours electric supply from the national grid, mobile and fixed telephone lines, internet services, and a branch postal office. The main water supply source of the town is potable Underground water and there are pipe distribution networks. The town has closed ditch pipes.

5.2 Housing

There are 5,140 houses built of different materials in Tepi town and there are about 4246 house deficit in the town.

5.3 Transport

There is daily inter-urban transport service to and from 13 small and medium towns. The town has a bus station. There are also 47 Bajajs, 200 motor bike and 151 horse-drawn carts for giving Intra-urban transport service.
