5.1 Infrastructure

Regarding infrastructure, the town has asphalt and gravel roads connecting it to different woreda, zone, region and Addis Ababa. The distribution of roads as per the type of construction materials shows that 3km are gravel, 1km asphalt and 1km earth pressed roads. In addition to these; the town gets 24 hours electric supply from the national grid, and has mobile and fixed telephone lines, has internet services, and a postal service. The main water supply source potable water is river and water is distributed through piped network and 45 public water distribution points. The town has open ditches to discharge storm water.

5.2 Housing

Wood, Hollow Concrete and Blocks and stone are widely available construction materials in the town.

5.3 Transport

There is daily inter-urban transport service to and from different towns. The town has bus station.
