  Infrastructure

Regarding infrastructure the town has asphalt and gravel roads connecting it to different towns in the region and Addis Ababa. In the town there are four main roads. The length of roads in material of construction are 2 km gravel, 2km asphalt, and 3 km compacted earth.

The town gets 24 hours electric supply from the national grid and has wireless, mobile and fixed telephone lines, internet services, and a postal service with 350 boxes. The main water supply source of the town is ground water distributed through piped network and 43 public taps. The town has open and closed ditches to discharge storm water

  Housing

There are 6145 houses in the town. Construction materials available in the town include brick, wood and mud.

  Transport

There is daily inter-urban transport service to and from three towns using large, medium and small buses for incoming and outgoing passengers. There are three flights per week to Addis Ababa. There are 271 Bajaj taxis giving intra-urban transport service.  <
