Infrastructure
Regarding infrastructure, the town has gravel road connecting it to Gilgal Beles/ Mambuk and Asosa. In addition to these; the town gets 24 hours electric supply from the national grid, has mobile and fixed telephone lines, internet, and a postal service with 50 boxes. The main water supply sources of the town is river water and distributed with piped network and two public taps. Housing
There are private and government owned houses in the town. The housing backlog in the town is 500. Houses were mainly built of mud and wood wall construction materials. Wood, stone, and Hollow Concrete Blocks are the widely available construction materials in the town.

 Transport
There is one bus for inter-urban transport services. Pawe International airport is also found nearby the town.
