The Minister of Urban Development and Infrastructure, Honorable Ms. Chaltu Sanina, and senior leaders visited the partially handed over building construction site in the Arat Kilo Bashawolde Court area.
The construction of the three-block building under construction by Yirgalem Construction Plc. Private Association has begun and has been partially handed over, and more than 66 percent of the work has been completed to complete the construction of the remaining two blocks. Although the work is being carried out in a good manner, the senior leadership has acknowledged that the remaining time is short compared to the allotted time, and the leaders have instructed that it should be carried out at a faster pace than the current one.
It was stated that the consulting engineer and the building contractor are making efforts to complete the work on time through subcontractors, and that in order to complete the work faster and with better quality, it is necessary to increase and strengthen the number of manpower, and to work overtime using shift work.
In addition to the visit, a presentation was made on what the main entrance and the courtyard will look like when the construction is completed, the facilities that the internal contents should meet, and what the brand logo of the institution should look like in two options, supported by photos and videos, and corrective comments were given by the management on the brand logo and its location.
Finally, a compensation plan has been prepared that takes into account the current status of the work, based on the direction given by the leaders, and the level reached should be regularly reviewed in coordination, and the work should continue with the current enthusiasm, speed, and quality.
