The working groups responsible for the Urban Administration and Service Delivery Sector, under the Ministry of Urban Development and Infrastructure, today held a joint agreement signing ceremony on the 2019 Budget Plan.
The working groups that attended the signing ceremony were the Chief Executive Officer of Land and Cadastre, the Chief Executive Officer of Urban Planning and Monitoring, the Chief Executive Officer of Urban Management, Finance and Services; the Office of Urban Food Security Safety Net and the Office of Urban Revenue Reform Project.
Honorable State Minister Ato Fenta Dejen said that when planning the 2019 budget year, we focused on the ongoing institutional reform, utilizing the available human resources to streamline work and increase customer satisfaction, and that we will achieve the national vision of fully digitizing work and making paperless operations a reality by 2030. Therefore, the management and employees are expected to carry out their work with the same understanding. He said that all management and employees should understand the purpose of the reform and make efforts to improve their ability to implement it. He said that in order to continuously institutionalize the sector, strengthening human resources capacity; making operations technology-enabled; and working in a cooperative and coordinated manner to meet the basic needs of citizens are expected of all of us.
