Addis Ababa, April 10/2018, (Kemeli) The Infrastructure and Construction Week Exhibition and Panel Discussion, organized by the Ministry of Urban Development and Infrastructure and more than 17 co-organizers, and attended by federal institutions and organizations engaged in the sector, was officially opened yesterday under the theme “Ethiopia Builds! Innovation, Speed and Quality for Infrastructure Development Progress” by the Honorable Prime Minister of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, Temesgen Tiruneh.
Various programs were held today at the same forum, which will run from April 9-12/2018. In the morning program, the road infrastructure development, connecting cities to cities, is moving from basic accessibility to high-speed roads; the importance of roads being built to connect cities with rural areas to realize rural connectivity and accessibility; and a panel discussion was held on the results of the efforts being made to connect cities with cities and Ethiopia with neighboring countries, and the activities that need to be carried out in the future to solve the problems being faced.
Following this, topics related to digital and telecom, as well as power supply and irrigation development were part of the panel discussion.
The program will continue until April 12/2018.
