In recognition of the successful completion of the tenth Ethiopian Cities Forum, an appreciation and recognition program was held by the Ministry of Urban and Infrastructure.
The program of appreciation and recognition is given to institutions and individuals who have contributed to the success of the forum at different levels.
The ministry thanked the senior leaders and experts of the region at all levels as well as the entire society of the region for their great efforts to prepare the tenth Ethiopian Cities Forum under the leadership of the president of the region, Mr. Haji Awol Arba.
In particular, an electric powered vehicle was presented to the Afar National Regional Government, Semera-Logya City, which successfully organized the tenth Ethiopian Cities Forum, from the Ministry of Urban and Infrastructure.
The 10th Ethiopian Cities Forum was seen to be a different way of experience, experiences and new technological results/digitalization/procedures by applying fast and efficient services to city dwellers in many cities.
It was stated in the forum that the National Regional Government of Benishangul, which is organizing the next eleventh Ethiopian Cities Forum, should make arrangements for Asosa city by taking experience from the tenth Ethiopian Cities Forum and previous forums.
