A awareness training focused on website usage and management, organized by the Ministry of Urban Development and Infrastructure, Information and Communication Technology Executive Office, was provided to leaders and experts from all regions and city administrations in the fields of public relations and communication; and information and communication technology.
The Chief Executive Officer of the institution, Ato Abera Amenta, who opened the training platform with a speech, said that since the functions of the two working groups are mutually supportive and interdependent, it is necessary to accelerate the information transfer journey to provide timely, reliable and fast information to the information-loving society, and it is necessary to constantly improve ourselves to make Digital Ethiopia a reality.
To do this, it is necessary to constantly test and build the capacity of the leadership and professionals, and since the structure of the federal city needs to be aligned with the technological level of the time, it is important to create a platform, stating that such communication methods should be strengthened in the future.
