Addis Ababa, March 14, 2018 (Kemli) The State Minister of Urban and Infrastructure Development, Hon. Yetemgeta Asrat (Dr.), stated that Ethiopia’s project performance has been steadily increasing, noting that Addis Ababa City has witnessed a significant change in the implementation of projects that meet international standards.

The International Project Management Institute in Ethiopia (PMI Ethiopia Chapter) also expressed its readiness to work closely with the institutions represented in Africa in 2026.

The MoU aims to jointly organize major events at the national and international levels, expand the reach of the two institutions to institutions in various sectors, and work on ongoing project works with the help of digital technology.

The Construction Management Institute (CMI) and Project Management International Ethiopia (PMI Ethiopia Chapter) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to work together.

The MoU is expected to bring about national transformation through the sharing of training, experience, knowledge and collaboration.

The Presidents of the Charters represented by the PMI Ethiopia Chapter in 2026 visited Addis Ababa and expressed their joy at the work that has been done in the city and is a model for other African countries.
