The Minister of Urban and Infrastructure, Hon. Ato Fenta Dejen, received a delegation from the Ministry of Urban and Rural Development of Namibia at his office

Addis Ababa, August 13, 2018 (Kemli) The delegation led by the Minister of Urban and Rural Development of Namibia, Hon. Sankwasa James, exchanged experiences with the Ministry of Urban and Infrastructure on urban planning and development, urban planning and housing development.

Regarding the exchange of experiences, the Minister of Urban and Infrastructure, Hon. Ato Fenta Dejen, said that the relationship between Ethiopia and Namibia is historic and that Ethiopia has been working on a wide range of cooperation projects in recent years.

The Honorable Minister stated that the agreement reached on air transport services is particularly important and important.

The Minister of State, Ato Fenta, emphasized that the two countries should work for mutual prosperity by expanding bilateral trade exchanges in the areas of economy, agriculture, trade, tourism and investment.

He said that he was very happy to share with the members of the Namibian delegation the progress being made in urban planning and affordable housing development.

The Minister of Urban and Rural Development of Namibia, Hon. Sankwasa James, expressed his satisfaction with the progress he had seen in urban planning and housing development, as well as urban beautification and sanitation in Ethiopia, and expressed his hope that the delegation would take the experience they had gained and apply it in their country.
