Ethiopia is a country that gets everything it wants from its citizens, when it wants it, and in whatever condition it wants. It is very proud to have citizens who do not hesitate to give everything that is asked of their country. From Adwa to the Renaissance Dam, from the people to the people to the green belt, it has asked for the participation of its citizens, and has participated more than it wanted. This is what has been repeated today.

Ethiopia wants to establish Ethiopian democracy, elect a government through open and democratic elections, and lay a solid foundation for constitutionalism. For this, it needed to use the 7th national election as a great opportunity.

In response, more than 54 million citizens have registered to vote and have been waiting for this day. Here, citizens have come out to vote in large numbers, accepting the call of the motherland; They also spent the night. It was a unique election in the history of Ethiopian elections, where citizens lined up for hours to vote.

There was no obstacle that was not dug by the people and gangs to prevent the election from taking place. But nothing was impossible for the patriotic Ethiopians who called for Ethiopia, and it was successfully completed. Ethiopia won by voting peacefully.

Ethiopia is grateful to the people who responded to the call for democratic elections in Ethiopia and voted from dawn to dusk, to the security forces who created a conducive environment for the constitutional order to be upheld and for citizens to vote peacefully, to the media institutions that provided timely and accurate information every minute, and to all those who led, coordinated and monitored the election process.
