A forum for exchange of experience was held with the heads of the sector and experts from all regions and two city administrations on the works done in the sector, organized by the Ministry of Urban Development and Infrastructure’s Real Estate Transactions, Valuations and Licensing Leading Executive.
The forum was opened by Adane Egze (PhD), the Leading Executive of the Ministry of Urban Development and Infrastructure’s Real Estate Transactions, Valuations and Licensing, who said that the vast wealth of our country is in real estate transactions, valuations and licensing works, and many works are being done in the regions to solve the complex problems encountered in the sector.
He stated that in order to make the works done more effective, we should focus on three main issues. They also said that they are creating an organization, adjusting the transaction system and creating a coordinated system.
Dr. Adane presented a document detailing the work done in the preparation and implementation phases of the real property transaction and valuation works carried out by the ministry, the main contents of the approved legal frameworks, the results obtained, the favorable conditions and challenges, and the issues that require further attention.
In addition, the experience of real property transaction and valuation works carried out in Somali, Afar and Harari regions was presented and discussed.
In the discussion, it was understood from the best experience that the monitoring and support provided by the ministry’s experts in cities for a long time is effective.
The participants said that it is necessary to exchange experiences in this way by taking the experience of the ministry and creating a consistent system.
