The President of the Federal Supreme Court, Hon. Ato Tewodros Mihret, was accompanied by the State Minister of Infrastructure, Hon. Yetemgeta Asrat (Dr.) Arat Kilo, Basha Wolde Court, who personally visited the progress of the Federal Supreme Court building construction located in the area known as Basha Wolde Court.
One block of the building, which is being constructed by Yirgalem Construction Co., Ltd. Private Association, was completed and handed over last October and began providing services. The working visit was conducted today to assess the progress of the construction of the remaining two blocks and set future directions.
The construction is being coordinated by the Federal Government Buildings Construction Project Office under the Ministry of Urban Development and Infrastructure. The project office, together with the consulting engineer, is responsible for assisting the contractor in matters that remain to be fixed and corrected during the field inspection, and is responsible for ensuring that the remaining work is completed and ready for service. The contractor is also directed to follow the directions given and complete the work with the best speed and quality.
Yirgalem Construction Plc. Private Association, which has signed a contract to complete the remaining construction work within 600 days, stated during the visit that it is working diligently to complete and deliver the entire work within the remaining time as per the contract.
