One of the research papers discussed was the National Government Service and Administration Reform Study. The research paper was presented by Hon Dr. Mekuria Haile, Commissioner of the FEDR Civil Service Commission. The Commissioner stated that the more the executive structure of the government is changed by a country’s political organization, the more trans-era and cross-party it should not be changed.
On the same basis, he mentioned that the Reform of Public Service and Administration has seven basic columns, and that its purpose is not to reduce the staff, but to identify the capacity gap in government service and administration to prepare the staff for a mission and build sustainable institutions.
In connection, the Honourable Commissioner emphasized that achieving nationalities, gender, age and disability-centered pluralism and inclusiveness was crucial to building a sustainable diocese.
As part of the reform, the Modern Ethiopian Service for Integrated Growth (Modern Ethiopian Service for Organized Benifits, MESOB) was disbanded in various locations with the intention of helping to train the services provided in a modern, efficient, time and cost-effective manner, according to the grand jury’s Prime Ministry Dr. Abiy Ahmed, whose origination was initiated at the federal and state levels. Accordingly, they noted that the service was placed in the direction of the government to begin in subsequent mayoral-level cities.
Government officials, experts, and university scholars from various cities are participating in the forum, and they stated that the research presented will help to level the service delivery of cities and that the work that was initiated is encouraging. The panel also continues with other research articles.
