Adama, November 16, 2018 (from recruiter) A practical awareness training was given to urban development safety net and work project experts on Information Management System (MIS).

The training will be conducted in the 12 regional cities of Ethiopia and the two city administrations where the project will be implemented, in total 87 cities where the project will be implemented, and in 81 cities where payment will be made, and in 97 cities where the payment station will be implemented, the information management system will be implemented after the training, said the coordinator of the Urban Development Safenet and Work Project, Mr. Andualem Gesese.

The urban development food security and safety net program is by providing direct monthly support to the disabled people who are pouring in from the rural parts of the country, the helpless elderly who have served their country in various professions on a sustainable basis every month. Coordinator said.

Yitaws Adela, the information system and management specialist of the urban development safety net and work project, said that the finance officers and experts of Bedele city and Sheger city under the Oromia national regional government, information technology experts, information experts, project coordinators and finance specialists participated in the awareness training.

Mr. Yitaws said that the main objective of the training is to provide safenet users in cities with up-to-date, quality-assured, secure, continuous and consistent information when making monthly payments by establishing a transparent information management system (MIS) when making payments with the bank, while implementing a modern digital system, eliminating traditional procedures and storing any data in a secure manner.

According to the program, the training will be given for three days in a row.
