The past performance of the Rural Connectivity and Accessibility Program has been reviewed

Addis Ababa, April 30, 2018 (Kemli) The Ministry of Urban and Infrastructure presented the 9-month plan of the Rural Connectivity and Accessibility Program for the 2018 budget year and the Dire Dawa City Administration.

The Minister of Urban and Infrastructure stated that the project has played a significant role in improving the development and accessibility of education, health, agriculture and social interaction in the rural areas.

The project, which is being implemented in partnership with the World Bank and the Ethiopian government, requires a great deal of professional coordination and leadership commitment to be effective, said Ato Mohamed Amin, Head of the Rural Connectivity and Access Program.

Finally, office equipment (desktop computers, laptops, tablets, printers, and similar items) that are helpful for the project were donated by the Honorable Minister of State to the regions and city administrations.
