It is known that the Ministry of Urban Development and Infrastructure is in the preparation phase of the second round of the government service and administration reform. This reform is being implemented by various committees and is a platform designed to create greater awareness among leaders and employees outside the committee.
Speaking at the forum, the State Minister of the Ministry of Urban Development and Infrastructure, Honorable Ato Fenta Dejen, said that the government service and administration reform is a reform that is being implemented as a country, and it will bring fundamental changes in all sectors, especially focusing on urban service delivery.
The government is paying great attention to cities by making cities people-oriented and economic centers, modernizing and improving service delivery in all sectors, and it is a platform to create awareness for the employee, the Honorable State Minister said.
Similarly, the State Minister of Infrastructure, Hon. Ato Yetmegeta Asrat (PhD), said that the government service and administration reform is a reform aimed at service and administration, and that the government should ensure that citizens are satisfied with the services provided in cities, and that shortcomings and problems at all levels are addressed.
It is the right and obligation of management and employees to know and understand the need to create a strong, independent, competent and cross-functional institution, so it is necessary to participate in the process of each reform work and to ensure that leaders and employees organized in committees do not create gaps in their regular work, he said.
