Addis Ababa, 1 March 2018.M, (from Melmi) Ministry of Town and Infrastructure supported the Holy month of Ramadan by attending the Iftar Scheme for the lower-income sections of our community in the goal of the employment of the Brother Khalid Foundation in Kazanches:
The scheme was attended by senior leaders of the Ministry and officials of the respondent’s institutions; civil society institutions; as well as board leaders of the Brother Khalid Foundation; staff of the Foundation and participating guests of Iftar.
A myriad visit was made by the Brother Khalid Foundation, where some 670 young people and children who had made their living in the streets at the centre gathered: “street is a seedling, not a human!” The principle that arose, was that this organization, which had been in various difficulties, accepted and treated citizens who had made their living on the streets, not to give them a sense of old age and to become productive citizens, while obtaining food and shelter services from the center and working in corridor development and other projects to create their own revenue capacity, it was stated during the visit.
After the visit, other religious orders were carried out and the Iftar program was carried out, and in a speech following him, Honourable Minister Mrs. Khaltu Sani said that it was a great personality for Brother Khalid to give up his settled life and give up his whole self to this foundation, and that we should stand by him
He also contributed a grant of Rs 2 million, which was prepared on behalf of the Ministerial Office, praising their efforts to break away from the tester by stating that the supported citizens would not remain beneficiaries but would survive for others tomorrow, and not give up
The foundation’s founder, Brother Khalid, said that the Honourable Ms Khaltu Sani had taken an abrupt visit to the centre before and then assumed the role of ambassador in an effort to ensure that the foundation received a grant of Rs 10 million from two other institutions, and that today the ministry has paid their respects and thanks to the support the school has provided, which they said is a sign of their solidarity with the centre
Other institutions have promoted this as a role of role in helping the sacred action performed by the maximization of harmony, love, unity and social value, so other institutions and all citizens have forwarded their calls to side with them as soon as they can afford it
