Adama, February 2, 2018 (K.M.L.M.)
The solution to solving the multifaceted problems of cities is to implement digital systems, said the State Minister of the Ministry of Urban Development, Hon. Ato Fenta Dejen.
The State Minister said this during a training and experience exchange program organized in Adama City for sector leaders and experts from all regions and the two city administrations on municipal service standards, land and cadastre, municipal revenue, and urban planning.
The Ministry stated that the root cause of the basic problem of good governance among the urban residents of our country is the failure to implement the digital system required by the times in the areas of municipal service standards, land and cadastre, municipal revenue, and urban planning. The government should identify its strengths and implement efficient and modern service delivery to address this fundamental problem.
