Addis Ababa, May 11/2018, (From the Ministry of Urban Development) Honorable Minister of Urban Development and Infrastructure, Ms. Chaltu Sanina, and Honorable Minister of State, Ms. Temgeta Asrat (Dr.) reviewed the construction status of the Civil Aviation Building under construction near Bole Airport, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Building near Kazanchis Urael, and the Federal Supreme Court Civil Appeal Court Building near Arat Kilo Bashawolde, and assessed the extent to which the directions set in the previous field observation were implemented and set future directions.
During the field inspection, Yirgalem Construction PLC and Santamaria Construction, which are contracted to build the three institutions, raised the reasons for their failure to complete and submit the works completed and the unfinished works within the stipulated time and the issues they want to be addressed by the government. After listening to the report submitted by the building contractors and consulting engineers, the three entities worked together and the remaining works should be completed and used for the desired service in a short time and the government was ready to provide the necessary support.
This is to remind them that they should use the resources they have to complete the work and do it on time.
