A practical training focused on the digitalization pillar, one of the pillars being studied in the preparatory phase to implement the government service and administration reform at the institution level, was provided by trainers from the Ministry of Science and Innovation at Adama Science and Technology University.

The State Minister of Urban Development and Infrastructure, Khalid Abdurahman, who attended the training session and opened the training session, stated that the government is working diligently to realize Digital Ethiopia 2030. He said that the training session was prepared because it is necessary to conduct training on the implementation of digitalization software, which is one of the government service and administration reform studies being studied in the preparatory phase at our institution. He said that it is necessary to actively monitor the training to bring about tangible change.

Following his opening speech, the training provided included making our mail management system technologically advanced and modern, and processing letters sent from abroad to our institution; We have trained the importance of technology and the process of using it through practical exercises and practical demonstrations to make the service smoother and safer for the client, and to ensure that the client receives the service without any hassle.

The second training topic is a system where the client can make an appointment to receive the service at the institution from the client’s location. This is a practical exercise that shows that it can avoid delays and create a good and healthy relationship between the service seeker and the client in the process of receiving and handling the client, as well as increasing the client’s satisfaction.

Finally, the Chief Executive Officer of the Ministry of Education, Ato Abera Amente, stated that the knowledge gained from the training was helpful for our work and conveyed his message that our working relationship with the institution should continue to be strengthened in the future and that we should fulfill what we are required to fulfill on our part.
