The leadership and staff of the Ministry of Urban Development and Infrastructure held a discussion on the success of the 7th general national election process and post-election activities.

The Minister of Urban Development and Infrastructure, Honorable Ato Fenta Dejen, who opened the discussion with a speech, said that the successfully concluded national election was a platform to discuss the contributions of the government and the implementing body to ensure that it was free, fair and peaceful.

Honorable Ato Fenta stated that strong cooperation from the entire people is expected to build a common country after the government is formed during the election process.

Despite ideological and political differences, it is necessary to stand together and cooperate for a common national goal in protecting the country and national interests, and the discussion document was presented by Honorable Minister of Urban Development Yetemgeta. Asrat (PhD).

Although elections are inherently competitive and competitive, they should be transformed into cooperation as long as they are a matter of nation-building. The Minister of State also stated that the Ministry and the relevant institutions have done a lot of work to make the elections successful.

He said that the discussion aimed to achieve the national goal of building a strong government by effectively implementing post-election activities and that there is a need to create a common understanding and prevent illegal activities.

Finally, various comments and questions were raised regarding the discussion document, and Honorable Ato Fenta Dejen provided responses and directions for the future.
