1. National Conservation Program:

     

      • Objective: To protect and conserve Ethiopia’s natural habitats and biodiversity.

      • Components:

           

            • Protected Areas: Establishment and management of protected areas and national parks.

            • Wildlife Conservation: Initiatives to protect endangered species and their habitats.

            • Community Involvement: Engaging local communities in conservation efforts through education and participation.

        • Progress: New protected areas have been established, and several endangered species are now under active protection.

      2. Pollution Control and Waste Management:

         

          • Objective: To reduce pollution and improve waste management practices.

          • Components:

               

                • Pollution Control Measures: Implementation of regulations and technologies to reduce industrial and urban pollution.

                • Waste Management Facilities: Construction of waste treatment and recycling facilities.

                • Public Awareness Campaigns: Educating the public on the importance of pollution control and proper waste management.

            • Progress: Significant reductions in pollution levels have been achieved in major cities, and new waste management facilities have been built.
