Addis Ababa, April 12/2018 (Kemeli) The Ethiopian Infrastructure and Construction Week (EICW) proved to be an effective platform for collaboration, with various panel discussions and a grand exhibition.
The panel discussions and industrial exhibition organized in the energy, transportation, digital systems, mining and construction sectors were a place where stakeholders explored the development of our country’s infrastructure and laid out our future plans and aspirations by learning from the past, said Honorable State Minister Yetemgeta Asrat (PhD).
What stood out in the event was the in-depth analysis based on data and the practical collaboration between the government, the private sector and development partners; This enabled the Minister of State to transform the challenges and opportunities identified in the discussions into joint efforts.
The exhibition platform clearly showcased national projects and innovations, and the discussions created a conducive environment for deeper coordination and how to move from planning to action, he said.
Overall, EICW 2026 reflected the transformation process of the sector; it was a platform that was more connected, open to innovation, and focused on transforming the grand goals into results through coordinated national implementation.
