The “Urban Development and Construction About Ethiopia” exhibition, organized by the Ministry of Urban Development and Infrastructure in collaboration with the Ethiopian Press Agency, is being held in Kemise City from July 14, 2018 (UTC).
In his opening remarks, Minister of Urban Development and Infrastructure, Chaltu Sani, said that in order to properly manage the rapid urbanization that is taking place in our country, we have reached a crucial stage by integrating all sectors to expand and strengthen development options based on the current level of development, the needs of citizens, and the national vision.
Since urban development involves multi-sectoral activities, it requires the development of industrial, market, social and economic infrastructure and services in a coordinated, interconnected, and mutually beneficial manner, both internally and externally. He also stated that “About Ethiopia” is a national discussion forum organized by the Ethiopian Press Organization and held in various Ethiopian cities, and its aim is to develop a culture of discussion and dialogue and to build a national narrative, so it should be given special attention.
