1.1 Location
Dembi Dollo town is found in 1911 located in Oromia National Regional State, Kellem Wellega zone at a distance of 664 km from Addis Ababa. Its astronomical location is 8º 30’71’’- 8º 46’24’’ North Latitude and 34º 46’06’’-34º 50’00’’ East Longitude. Its major role is wereda administration and trade center.
1.2 Foundation
Dembi Dollo town was founded in 1911. Dembi Dollo is one of the
reform towns in the region and has a town administration, municipality
and four kebeles. The town has a structure plan.
