1.1 Location
Arsi-Negelle town is located in Oromia National Regional State,
in West Arsi Zone at a distance of 277 km from Addis Ababa.
1.2 Foundation
Arsi-Negelle town was founded in 1943 and obtained municipal status in 1965.
Arsi-Negelle is one of the reform towns in the region and has a town
administration, municipality and three kebeles. Currently the town is
categorized in 2B. The town has structure plan.
