1.1 Location
Gimbi town is located in western Ethiopia, Oromia National Regional State, West Wellega zone, Gimbi woreda, at a distance of 441 Km from Addis Ababa. Its astronomical location is 9º 10’ N latitude and 35º 50’ E longitude.
1.2 Foundation
Gimbi town was founded in 1941.
Gimbi is one of the reform towns in the region and has a town administration, municipality and four
